This article was recently written by the youngest of my five sisters, Caitlin Cleveland (age 20).  I hope it will touch your heart as it did mine:

Having recently left the college world of athletics, I settled into my new LSU home with a stack of new "friends." The first book on my list, The Irresistible Revolution by Shane Claiborne, is directly responsible for the following story:

I was driving down Highland one night with a couple hamburgers toward the Circle K where many of the homeless gather. My new friend Shane Claiborne had urged me from his pages to see Jesus in the least and to love them in a radical way. I felt compelled.

Walking along the road was Charles. I offered him a hamburger and asked him what else he might need.

  Dear Kitty, We have a wonderful Catholic shop here in Marietta, GA called "Mary's Garden."  The owner lent me her copy of your Divine Mercy CD, and I went back and bought every CD of yours that she had!  (My order is for the ones she didn't have!)  I hope you continue to make beautiful music :)

Dear Friends,

Rejoice in the Lord always!  Have you been having a hard year?  Me, too! I don't think I know anyone who hasn't had to carry some heavy crosses these last several months, and yet Thanksgiving fast approaches and urges us once again to recognize the countless proofs of God's love all around us.

As I started to put my thoughts together for my last newsletter, I wanted to have all kinds of neat and inspiring things to tell you about.  Instead, my mind quickly scanned what I considered to be the "bad things" that have happened this year which have kept me from achieving more with my music ministry and recording a new CD for you, to-wit:

• a cancer scare and major surgery in January

After 13 months of work, I'm thrilled to announce the availability of my newest CD, Sublime Chant:  The Scotland Project.  It includes 17 Gregorian chants that I recorded in Dunblane, Scotland at the 13th c.
